Overview
The Dashboard tab provides a high-level view of DioIPS status and activity. It's the first thing you see when launching the application.
Status Cards
Driver Status
- • Main driver loaded/unloaded
- • NDIS filter status
- • Hypervisor status
Event Counts
- • Total events received
- • Events per category
- • Alerts triggered
System Info
- • Windows version
- • CPU info
- • Memory usage
Rules
- • Active rules count
- • Rules triggered today
- • Last rule match
Module Controls
Enable or disable monitoring modules from the dashboard:
| Module | Description |
|---|---|
| Main Driver | Start/stop the kernel driver |
| NDIS Filter | Enable/disable packet inspection |
| Hypervisor | Enable/disable EPT hooks |
| ETW Consumer | Enable/disable ETW monitoring |
Event Graph
The dashboard displays a real-time graph showing event volume over time:
- • Time range — Last 5 minutes, 1 hour, or 24 hours
- • Category breakdown — Color-coded by event type
- • Spike detection — Highlights unusual activity
Recent Alerts
The dashboard shows the most recent IPS rule matches:
- • Last 10 alerts
- • Rule name and action taken
- • Click to view full event details
